Congratulations to team captain Josh Pane who was named a Game Breaker High School Player of the Week this week for his outstanding performance against Brother Martin in a 98-0 win over the New Orleans side. Josh scored five tries in the match and was recognized by the prestigious rugby site Goff's Rugby Report (http://www.goffrugbyreport.com/news/gamebreakers-hs-boys-week-8), which spotlights the best high school rugby performances from around the nation.
Josh also tied a prestigious team record with his five tries against Brother Martin. The record was set in 2007 by wing Patrick Gutowski against Harvey High School (New Jersey). "We are extremely proud of Josh and this effort is a testament to what teamwork can accomplish when combined with a brilliant individual performance. Josh has done an amazing job so far as captain and it is very gratifying to know that he can lead while keeping his game at an exceptional level, " stated Eagles' coach Brett Mills.
